Combined voltage and current transformer units are a convenient and cost effective method of providing metering and/or protection to many electrical installations.

These systems can be manufactured in many combinations to suit all variations in voltage transformer and current transformer requirements.

This new advanced design is to replace the CT-116 and CT-117 designs as the CT-620 allows for both a horizontal or a 90° primary connection.

The base mounting centres are interchangeable with the previous designs although the primary connections are not.

The primary connections are by means of a single bolt up to 400A and two bolts are used above 400A.

Base mounting is by four tapped inserts moulded into the resin.

• These current transformers are manufactured to comply with the requirements of Australian Standard AS 1675.
• Tapped Secondary Winding
  This feature is available to allow for increasing the current rating of system at a later date and gives a ratio of double the low ratio e.g. 100/50/5.
• Double Secondaries
  Two separate secondary cores and windings can be accommodated in this design with reduced outputs as below. They may be two metering secondaries or two protection secondaries or one of each.
